All of the ingredients Ka Nani Essentials uses in our products have been researched to ensure that they meet vigorous guidelines for quality and purity. All of Ka Nani Essentials ingredients meet or exceed the Vegan guidelines for purity. This is important to us. Ka Nani Essentials works closely with our vendors to make sure that we are getting the best value for the highest quality. Some of these vendor relationships are local and some are national. Whenever possible Ka Nani Essentials tries to buy ingredients locally to support our community which also helps to keep costs down. Because of these relationships Ka Nani Essentials has with our vendors we are proud to be able to pass that quality and good value down to all our customers.
Ka Nani Essentials makes all of their products lovingly by hand in a smoke-free, pet free environment. We use a hot process and natural, Paraben and Formaldehyde FREE preservatives for a broad antimicrobial system. This process keeps the products from forming Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria's, molds and yeasts.
While ALL of Ka Nani Essentials Products are made with natural and organically sourced ingredients, Ka Nani Essentials can not guarantee how they will work with your skin/body type. Therefore if you should develop ANY kind of skin irritation or other type of reaction after starting to use any of our product line; please DISCONTINUE use immediately and contact your health provider.
Why Is Your Shipping Price Higher Than Most Of Your Items?
Ka Nani Essentials’ formula for shipping is based on FedEx and UPS GROUND rates that are charged to us for shipping our orders. Our basic shipping rate is $4.95—then a per item cost is added to increase the shipping by weight. To purchase one item—it will always be $4.95 shipping and handling cost. Shipping costs are determined by weight.
Whenever possible Ka Nani Essentials will charge the lowest price possible for shipping. If you paid more for shipping than is necessary for your order, Ka Nani Essentials will either charge the actual amount necessary for shipping or if you have already paid as will be in most cases—Ka Nani Essentials will credit back the difference if there is two ($2.00) or more. Ka Nani Essentials does not charge a separate amount for our shipping materials, so any total from $.01 to $1.99 will be put back into the company for that purpose.

What Ways May I Order My Items and How Can I Pay For Them?
Ka Nani Essentials has several convenient ways to place an order for products that you would like to use or try. We accept ALL phone orders during our normal business hours of 9 AM to 6PM Pacific Standard Time. If you prefer you can leave a message with your name and telephone number stating your interest in placing an order and someone will return your call within one (1) business day. If you would like you can fax your order to our fax number and of course our website is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week to accept all orders.
Ka Nani Essentials takes all major Credit Cards such as Visa, Master Card, American Express, Debit Cards etc. For your convenience and safety as well as our Company’s Safety we process all forms of Credit Card payments through either PayPal or Google Check-out to ensure against fraud from the unscrupulous sort. Ka Nani Essentials also takes all forms of checks drawn on U S Banks ONLY. For orders placed with a personal check please mail to the address on our Contact Us page made out to the Business Owner’s name Laura Jordan All orders that are paid by check will be held for seven (7) to ten (10) business days to allow the payment to clear and prevent fraudulent actions.
Ka Nani Essentials does accept CASH for LOCAL orders ONLY. Ka Nani Essentials does delivery within a twenty-five (25) mile radius of our community. ALL LOCAL orders have a nominal fee of $3.00 added, this fee is in lieu of shipping costs and ensures order commitment.
Ka Nani Essentials DOES NOT accept any form of Money Order or Cashiers Check as payment. Ka Nani Essentials WILL accept International Orders on a case by case basis. Contact us for more information on shipping rates and currency conversion.

For order processing only we ask for two ways to contact you so that we may discuss any issues that arise and apprise you of what status the order is in. This information is NEVER shared or distributed past this point. It will NEVER sold or given to any other company.
Ka Nani Essentials does send out a monthly newsletter to let our customers know what is going on in our business and appraise them of any specials, new items etc. At any time that you wish to NOT receive this newsletter, there is a removal option on all newsletters or you may contact us at anytime to be removed.
If you place an order with us by telephone or fax order; please know that Ka Nani Essentials DOES NOT keep your personal information on file. All financial information taken in the ordering process will be shredded after being entered into our order processing system to protect your identity. If you wish us to retain this information you must notify us in writing of your desire for us to keep that information in our files.
When Can I Expect To Receive My Order and May I Cancel My Order If I Decide Later That I Don’t Want It?
Ka Nani Essentials takes all of our customer’s orders seriously. Because of the nature of our product line and customization processes, ALL orders will take a minimum of three (3) to seven(7) business days to process, unless the materials are not available at which time you will be notified and may take up to ten (10) business days to process. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order please contact us immediately.
If you decide that you want to cancel your order - you may do so within the first two (2) days without any reprisal. After three (3) days Ka Nani Essentials will charge a $25.00 cancellation fee to cover supplies used or ordered, and for time spent in finding another customer to buy the product(s) already made.
If I Don’t Like My Products May I Get A Refund?
Ka Nani Essentials is dedicated to complete Customer Service and requests that you contact us regarding any part of your order from placing your order to receiving and using your products. We welcome ALL suggestions, as well as complaints and will work extremely hard to ensure that you have the best experience possible.
Ka Nani Essentials insures ALL packages shipped to ensure that both our company and you are protected in cases of damages, loss, theft or other such unforeseeable circumstances by the shipping carrier. Ka Nani Essentials CAN NOT issue refunds for products already OPENED or USED. Ka Nani Essentials will always attempt to replace the product first before returning the purchase price. If you receive an order that is damaged or opened—please return entire package AS IS for a replacement.
If you are unhappy with your product you may contact us to discuss what it is that you dislike—it may be that you just didn’t understand how certain combinations would turn out together. Ka Nani Essentials works extremely hard to ensure that during the creation of your order that should any combination not work well together, we will contact you BEFORE the order is sent out to discuss these types of issues. We may suggest other combinations that might work better for you, which comes from both Ka Nani Essentials’ experiences as well as other customer experiences in similar circumstances. If during this process you decide that you still would like what you first ordered it will be noted and sent out as you requested. In these instances Ka Nani Essentials will NOT refund or replace the item.
I Received My Order, But My Box Was Tampered With Or Items Were Broken ?

Therefore Ka Nani Essentials insures ALL packages shipped to ensure that both our company and you are protected in cases of damages, loss, theft or other such unforeseeable circumstances by the shipping carrier. For this reason Ka Nani Essentials shipping costs may be slightly higher than other companies.
If there are any problems with your order, such as a product arriving damaged, please contact Ka Nani Essentials immediately for assistance. When speaking with a team member or leaving a message, please give us your full name, mailing address, a description of the product and the problem you are having. If this product was shipped to you as a gift and there is a problem with it, please contact us with your full name, mailing address, a description of the product and the problem you are having.
If you receive an order that is damaged or opened—please return entire package AS IS for a replacement. Ka Nani Essentials will replace the items at NO extra charge to you and will cover ALL shipping costs to return your order to you as well as giving you a credit voucher for the cost of returning the item should any such costs arise.
When I Took Off The Packaging On My Bar Soap There Were Little Beads All Over It, Or It Appeared To Be Discolored?
Ka Nani Essentials takes great care in packing your products. Your soap is wrapped so that moisture should not be allowed in. Due to the nature of Essential Oils, we have found in some of our products; especially our soaps; that when exposed to heat, or extreme light such as sunlight that there is a slight discoloration and beading effect .
This does not in ANY way effect how the soap suds or the scent, there may just be some slight color variations. If there is some beading effect do not be alarmed as it will disappear with the first use and does not effect the suds or properties of the soap at all.
So for example if you order Lavender Essential Oil with a Purple Color, if exposed to extreme heat or light the color could change to a slight fading purple or brownish variation.
This is all normal and is a good indicator of a Natural Product!
Because You Use Natural/Organic Ingredients How Long Do Your Products Last?
All of Ka Nani Essentials products are good up to one (1) year. Our products may be viable after that time period but Ka Nani Essentials can NOT guarantee their products after one (1) year.
Ka Nani Essentials does use a natural preservative in their products that is derived from organic chemical compounds and is also Paraben and Formaldehyde FREE. Using this ensures that the products we make do not form harmful bacteria’s, molds and yeasts.
